Lielais kamielis (The Big Camel) Restaurant - Bar. Open every day from 12 (a.m.) to11(p.m.) Until the end of the 19th century, this was the wealthy trader Reitern's warehouse for imported goods. The sign "The Big Camel" meant that one could asquire imported rarities from distant lands, including spices, fruits, wines ... "It's in a several-hundred-year-old historic building in Old Riga and serves a very unique cuisine that is part traditional Latvian and part, well, I don't know what. It's been in business for over 100 years, I think. Prices range from low to high, but generally I'd say it's a moderate- to slightly high-priced place."
