DON'T WAIT UNTIL YOU ARRIVE (maybe it can be too late.) Okinava offers travel assistance, guides, and social plans for tourists. We can manage your travel plans, by making your hotel reservation in advance, matching your exact needs, to be certain you will have a room available. We could meet you at the airport to make your visit easier. Of course, if you require a translator or guide of the city, this is our main specialty. Our guides can show you all places of interest in Riga (with transport if you wish). We can arrange your tickets to the opera or concerts, or arrange other travel plans as well.
Or company has been working for 6 years in Latvia. Our tourism office is centered in our comfortable relaxation center Okinava, which is situated in Old Riga. (This is the most beautiful part of the city, and it is the business/historic/cultural district; very busy and full of life). Our center includes a bar, sauna with a swimming pool, and a room for relaxation. Our sauna will cost you only 7 Ls (12$) per hour, but if you want to stay there for several hours it can be cheaper. Ask about our other reasonable prices for other services.

We offer translations into Latvian and Russian from the following languages:
    English, German, French, Polish, Russian, Czech, Slovak, Lithuanian - from 20.00 EUR to 30.00 EUR per notional page
    Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, Estonian, Italian, Spanish, Danish, Portuguese, Slovenian, Flemish - from 30.00 EUR to 40.00 EUR per notional page
    Hebrew, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Albanian, Macedonian, Greek - from 40.00 EUR to 60.00 EUR per notional page
- 1 notional page contains 250 words or 1500 characters or 1800 keystrokes
- minimum price applied when translation is done by single translator and proofreader without expert's assistance
- maximum price applied when translation is done by several translators and when style editing and expert's assistance is required
- a ratio of 1.5 is applied for urgent orders
- 750 - 1500 words per day - standard amount for one translator per day depending on the complexity of the text

Style editing of original texts and translations done elsewhere as well as translation quality assessment:
    Latvian and Russian languages - 40.00 EUR per hour
Interpreting:
    Simultaneous interpreting - from 30.00 EUR (seminars and conferences) to 50.00 EUR (court, diplomatic reception) per hour/one interpreter
    Consecutive interpretation - from 25.00 EUR (business meetings, presentations) to 40.00 EUR (press conferences) per hour/one interpreter
- 3 hours - minimum order for interpretation
- two interpreters required for simultaneous interpretation exceeding 1 hour
- a 7-14 days prior notice before the event should be given
- materials related to the event should be provided 7 days prior to the event
